Subash Sahoo
Oriya sound recordist Subash Sahoo
has claimed his second National award for his work in Vishal Bharadwaj’s Kaminey. Sahoo, a sound engineer and recordist from Film and Television Institute (FTII) Pune had won his first National award for Bharadwaj’s Omkara in 2008. “I’m delighted to win the award for the second time. I owe my success to my director Vishal,” says Sahoo, who is presently at his village Baluriya in Kendrapara. “It feels great that people in my state are noticing my work due to these awards,” he says. Starting his career as an Electronics and Communication engineer, Sahoo quit his job in Bhubaneswar and left for FTII in 1991
Aseem Sinha
Aseem is a trained editor from FTII
and has edited more than 50 feature films, a number of TV serials, corporate films and ads. His most prominent work in films includes that in Shyam Benegal’s Mammo, Sardari Begum, Zubeida, Welcome to Sajjanpur, Well Done Abba; A. K. Bir’s The Last Vision; Punkuj Parashar’s Beneras; Kalpana Lajmi’s Darmiyaan and Mehreen Jabbar’s Ramchand Pakistani. He has directed two documentary films - 25 years of Subhash Ghai in Hindi Cinema for Mukta Arts and Paani for UNDP.
DINESH KHANNA

Dinesh Khanna is an Indian theatre director and acting teacher at the National School of Drama. He is known for his productions based on The Boring Story written by Anton Chekhov, Dedh Inch Oopar, Zindagi Yahan, Subah ki Sair, aur Wahan by Nirmal Verma, and Rasapriya by Phanishwarnath Renu.
A graduate from Lucknow University with a diploma in Acting from Bhartendu Natya Academy and a post-graduate diploma in acting from the National School of Drama in 1986, Dinesh Khanna has been involved in acting, direction and teaching for the last twenty years. Deeply interested in literature and translation, he has written several articles on theatre. His published works include Kucch Aansu Aur Kuchh Phool and Abhinay Chintan.

After graduating from Film and Television Institute of India, (FTII, Pune ) in Dec.1993, He acquired on floor expertise while working with ace cinematographers like Ashok Mehta and Vikas shaivaraman.
His independent work includes Ad films, promos, corporate and documentaries includes the clientele of agencies like Grey worldwide, Triton advertising, Bharat Bala Prods, Shot in the dark, Mise-en-scene, Squirkle, Percept Advertising, Universal Music, T-series, Channel [ v ] ,B4U and others. Among the well-known work includes Music video “Nishani” of pop artist Jassi.
# In 2001,he shot HINDI feature length fiction film directed by Senior FTII graduate,1974 batch, on 35mm format. ”Ladli”, funded by Children’s Film Society Of India, to create awareness about female infanticide.
# In 2005, he shot 2nd feature length fiction film on 35mm Cinemascope format “Sonam” about the Monapa community of Arunachal Pradesh
International Exposure

# He got the opportunity to travel extensively in Europe while shooting shot fiction film ”Vivere” based on a song by Luciano Pavarotti, directed by Martin Srebotnajek.
# He holds the credit of being only director of photography from India to shoot underwater on more than 40 islands in the Bahamas and Caribbean for a series called “Diving spots of the Caribbean & Bahamas”.

As Script writer for Public service animation films:
Four animation films scripted by him, without dialogue, were funded by National Literacy Mission. These films are aimed to mobilize the volunteers and are animated and directed by National award winner animators Kireet Khurana & Bhimsain.
As Director of Documentary Films:
1. All Time Blues: 30 mins, produced by PSBT, explores the brass band music culture in India
2. Rotigraphers of India: 30 mins, produced by PSBT, brings forwards the personal and professional life of local photographic community.
3. Rhythmic Echoes and Reflections: 30 Mins. (35mm film format) for Ministry of External affairs, explores the universality of dance form via Kathak, Flamenco, American Tap Dance and European Ballet.
